Beverly’s Endicott College celebrates 25 years of leadership

Prestige Valet Parking was pleased to be able to provide professional valet parking attendant service for 350 of the trustees, board of advisors, alumni, and community leaders at Misselwood located at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.  The event on May 5th, celebrated the 25th anniversary of Dr. Richard E. Wylie’s presidency at Endicott College.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Dr. Richard E. Wylie’s presidency at Endicott College.  During his tenure, Dr. Wylie has transformed Endicott from a struggling, nearly bankrupt institution 25 years ago into a robust College with close to 5,000 students that US News and World Report named this year as a top University in the Northeast.  The College is seen as a major economic generator for Beverly and the North Shore, infusing more than $50 million back into the local economy the past year.
The sold out Black-Tie Gala recognized Dr. Wylie for all of his extraordinary accomplishments and service at Endicott College.
Most importantly, the proceeds from the gala will benefit student scholarships at Endicott College.  Their goal is to raise $500,000, all to help students in need of financial assistance.

Is the valet parking company insured?

Is the valet parking company insured?
Without a doubt, this is the most important question to ask.  Even the smallest accident can create a lawsuit in today's litigious society. It is very difficult for valet parking companies to protect themselves when in most instances, the insurance company sides with the individual making the claim (the claimant). In the case of an accident or claim, the claimant must be responded to immediately. Poor handling of the situation could severely damage your relationship with the customer and your company’s image. If the valet company handles the situation correctly, your company’s reputation and your relationship with the customer will not only be salvaged, but strengthened. Prestige Valet Parking is pleased to say that the amount of claims against us has been minimal over our 30 year career in valet parking management. With that said, we always handle a claim quickly and professionally and in a manner that would reflect well upon you as the host of an event or the owner of a business.

There are many types of liability insurance your valet service should have:

General Liability Insurance provides protection for the parking company for their negligence should they injure or damage someone or someone else's property (i.e. Bodily Injury and Property Damage Coverage) This would be to a third party.

Garage-keepers Legal Liability Insurance provides protection for the parking company for their negligence should they damage the customers vehicle in which they have taken into their care, custody and control.

Worker's Compensation Insurance: Workers' Compensation insurance is business insurance that provides medical and disability coverage for employees who sustain job-related injuries. Worker's Compensation insurance policies will cover an employee's medical expenses and reimburse him or her for some percentage of lost wages.

Employers' Liability Insurance protects companies against the costs of defending employment-related claims brought by employees for work-related injuries or illness. The Employers' Liability coverage is usually one portion of a standard Workers' Compensation policy.

PRESTIGE VALET PARKING ALWAYS INSURES WITH ALL OF THESE POLICIES AS A STANDARD OPERATING PRACTICE AND WE ARE HAPPY TO PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURANCE.

How do you choose a valet parking company for your event?

How do you choose a valet parking company for your event?

When you offer valet parking for your event, the valet parking company you hire is the first and last impression with your guest or customer. It’s a perfect way to enhance their experience. Many view the valet parking service you hire as a part of your company. Be sure to hire a professional service that reflects the image you want to give your customers or guests.
Choose a company that has solid references. Choose a valet company that is listed with a local Chamber of Commerce and is listed in printed telephone directories and directory assistance. This allows customers or clients to contact the valet company directly for speedy service, in the unlikely event that there is a problem or claim. If the valet company is not listed, you should wonder why.
As a professional valet parking attendant service, Prestige Valet Parking is proud to be members of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce (since our inception on Cape Cod in 2006) and with the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. We are listed in local telephone directories and directory assistance.

Why Prestige Valet Parking?

Why Prestige Valet Parking?

Deciding whether or not your business needs a valet parking service can be confusing. Although such services are generally found outside restaurants, hotels and nightclubs many other businesses can benefit from offering their clients complementary valet parking.
Today, valet parking services are generally used in any service industry where impressing and pampering guests is what boosts the bottom line. This is why even businesses such as day spas and high-end hair salons have started offering their clients valet parking services.
Another growing trend is for upscale fitness centers and high-end boutiques to offer their clients valet parking. Such pampering may seem excessive but shrewd business people know that such perks are often the difference between success and mega-success.
Valet Parking photoOne thing is certain, if you are marketing your service-related business to an upscale clientele, anything you do to make your client’s visit to your premises easier, more convenient and more memorable, is worth the extra money and effort because it will come back to you in increased sales. People with money want to be indulged and do not want the hassles of finding parking and paying a meter. They would much rather just hand their keys to a valet who will take care of such matters for them – and who could blame them?
So, if you are wondering whether your business needs a valet parking service or not, remember this: if you are in the service industry and you depend on impressing an upscale clientele, then chances are that your business would benefit from Prestige Valet Parking.

Prestige Valet Parking.com for your Wedding Rehearsal

Prestige Valet Parking.com for your Wedding Rehearsal

At one time, a wedding rehearsal dinner involved a small gathering of the wedding party, immediate family, and some out-of-town guests. Not anymore.
As the average cost of a wedding approaches $50,000, rehearsal dinners are following suit – often with guest lists of over 100. Some rehearsal dinners are starting to look like mini weddings. For couples who have destination weddings, a rehearsal dinner often doubles as a welcome reception – which means everyone is invited.
Gone are the days when parents with sons could rest easy. The groom’s side usually hosts the rehearsal dinner—a tradition that hasn’t changed.
Couples are feeling obligated to entertain their out of town guests for the entire wedding weekend. Prestige Valet Parking has now found a trend in providing valet parking attendant service for not just rehearsal dinners, but extra cocktail parties and the after wedding Sunday brunch.
Valet parking is a way to impress your friends and business associates. A lavish rehearsal dinner does not have to take away from the wedding day. It just makes the special day even more memorable.
With Prestige Valet Parking,  the first impression begins at the curb. Leave your car with the professionals. We’ve been handling the burdens of parking worries since 1981.

We enjoyed a great Wedding Show this past Sunday at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster. There was a great turnout. We had the chance to meet and had inquiries from dozens of brides to be. Many thanks to the staff of Ocean Edge, Scott from Cape Tunes and Wedding Group of Cape Cod and to Wedding Day Exposition Industry Producer, Andrea Pouliot-Rourke.
