Does your business need Prestige Valet Parking service?

Deciding whether or not your business needs a valet parking service can be confusing. Although such services are generally found outside restaurants, hotels and nightclubs many other businesses can benefit from offering their clients complementary valet parking. Valet parking services are generally used in the service industry where impressing and pampering guests is what boosts the bottom line – that is why even such businesses as day spas and high-end hair salons have also started offering their clients valet parking services. Another growing trend is for upscale fitness centers and high-end boutiques to offer their clients valet parking. Such pampering may seem excessive but shrewd businesspeople know that such perks are often the difference between success and mega-success. One thing is certain, if you are marketing your service-related business to an upscale clientele, anything you do that will make your client’s visit to your premises easier, more convenient and more memorable is worth the extra money and effort because it will come back to you in increased sales. People with money want to be indulged and do not want the hassles of finding parking and paying a meter. They would much rather just hand their keys to a valet who will take care of such matters for them – and who blames them? So, if you were wondering whether your businesses needed a valet parking service or not remember that if you are in the service industry and you depend on impressing an upscale clientele, then chances are that your business would benefit from a valet parking service.

SAMPLE TEXT:
(from "Outside Oversights")Inadequate or inconvenient parking
How often are you in your parking lot in the midst of the rush? Do you really know if your guests have trouble finding a place to park? If your guests can't park easily, eventually they won't try to park at all. After business hours, is there available parking space in the lots of nearby businesses? If so, make a deal with them to use the space. Don't just commandeer it! Often a trade for meals is enough of a gesture to maintain good neighborhood relations.

If your parking lot is a long way from the restaurant entrance, you also have a problem, particularly in cold climates. Inconvenient parking can discourage business and cause your guests to get in the habit of going elsewhere. To make it as easy as possible for your guests, you may want to consider valet parking. Let the valet run down the block. Don't ask your guests to do it. Consider making the valet service complimentary. After all, you don't make a cent unless guests come in to dine in the first place!

Tipping valets

If you are planning a party for a non-profit organization or a charity event, it is not always appropriate for the gratuities to be prepaid. Most companies add 15-20% to their bills when the gratuities are to be refused from the guests. If you are giving a private party, however, it always is a nice gesture to include gratuities. It is always appropriate to offer a gratuity to the attendants because the host may not have pre-paid for tipping. An appropriate tip today would be $3 to $5 for a good service and perhaps $10-20 for excellent service.

Which valet company to hire?

When you plan on offering valet parking for your event, it's a perfect way to enhance your guests' experience and leave a lasting impression. The valet parking company you hire is the first and last impression with your guest. If hiring a valet parking service for your business, many view this as a part of your company.
Is the valet parking company insured? This is the most important question to ask. Even the smallest accident can create a lawsuit in today's litigious environment and can ruin a Company. It is very difficult for valet parking companies to protect themselves when in most instances, the insurance company sides with the individual making the claim (the claimant). In the case of an accident or claim, the claimant must be responded to immediately. With our 29 years of experience in valet parking and in property and casualty insurance matters, we are experts in claims management.
In the unlikely event of an accident or claim, your customer will form an opinion about how the valet parking company handles the issue. Poor handling of the situation could severely damage your relationship with the customer and your company’s image. If the valet company handles the situation correctly, your company’s reputation and your relationship with the customer will be salvaged, if not strengthened.
There are two types of liability insurance your valet service should have:
General Liability insurance provides protection for the parking company for their negligence should they injury or damage someone or someone else's property (i.e. Bodily Injury and Property Damage Coverage) This would be to a third party.

Garage keepers legal liability insurance provides protection for the parking company for their negligence should they damage the customers vehicle in which they have taken into their care, custody and control.

Worker's Compensation Insurance: Workers' Compensation insurance is business insurance that provides medical and disability coverage for employees who sustain job-related injuries. Worker's Compensation insurance policies will cover an employee's medical expenses and reimburse him or her for some percentage of lost wages.

Employers' Liability insurance protects companies against the costs of defending employment-related claims brought by employees for work-related injuries or illness. The Employers' Liability coverage is usually one portion of a standard Workers' Compensation policy.

Prestige Valet Parking.com insures with all of these policies as a standard operating practice.

How do you chose a valet parking company for your event?

Choose a company that has solid references. Choose a valet company that is listed with a local Chamber of Commerce ans is listed in printed telephone directories. If there is ever an issue, customers of clients can contact the valet company directly, rather than having to go through your event host of planner, saving you the hassle or embarrassment. If the valet company is not listed, you should wonder why. A professional valet parking attendant service, we are proud to be members of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce since our inception on Cape Cod in 2006 and with the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. We are also listed in Yellow Book, Yellow Pages and Verizon Super Pages.
